Hotel Room Cleaner
Cleaning Services — Zlatibor, Serbia
P-225 · Basic (A2) · 4 openings
A mountain hotel near Zlatibor needs people to keep its rooms ready for guests who arrive year round. Steady work, a bed to sleep in, and pay that lands above what most cleaning jobs in the area offer.
About role
You clean guest rooms after checkout and refresh occupied rooms during the day. That means stripping beds and making them up with fresh linen, wiping down bathrooms, restocking towels and toiletries, emptying bins, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces. A typical day is around 14 to 18 rooms, worked off a list the floor supervisor hands out each morning. Shifts usually run from 8 in the morning until the early afternoon, six days a week, with the busiest stretch over weekends and during the ski and summer seasons. You push a stocked trolley between rooms and use a vacuum cleaner plus standard cleaning supplies the hotel provides. Some days you also help with the laundry room or common areas when the hotel is full.

Quick and tidy, with an eye for the details guests notice
Reliable about turnaround time so rooms are ready when guests check in
Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals safely after a short briefing
Basic English is enough; Serbian is a plus but not required
Benefits
Accommodation provided on site or close to the hotel
One hot meal during each shift in the staff canteen
Health insurance through the employer
Help with paperwork and relocation for workers coming from abroad
Promotion terms
You start at 760 euros net per month. After you learn the floors and prove you keep up the pace, the employer moves you up toward 880 euros net, usually within the first year. People who take on extra responsibility, such as training new cleaners or running a floor, are first in line for that raise.
Work environment
The hotel sits in the Zlatibor mountains, so the air is clean and the pace shifts with the seasons. You work mostly indoors across several floors, with the trolley and supply rooms close by. Floors are carpeted in the rooms and tiled in the bathrooms, and the supervisor keeps the room list balanced so the load is steady rather than sudden.
