CNC Machine Operator

You will run CNC lathes and milling machines that cut metal parts to a drawing. Most of the day goes on loading raw stock, clamping the workpiece, starting the program, and checking the first piece before the run continues. You measure parts with a caliper and micrometer, swap worn tools, and adjust offsets when a dimension drifts. When a part comes off the machine you deburr the edges and set it in the bin for the next station. Work runs in two shifts, 6 to 14 and 14 to 22, with the line switching every week. You keep your station clean and log the count at the end of each shift.

At least one year on CNC lathes or mills

Reading technical drawings and basic GD&T

You start at 870 EUR net and move up as you take on harder setups and run more machines on your own. Operators who can set a job from scratch and hold tight tolerances reach 1000 EUR net within the first year. Pay is reviewed once you pass the trial period.

The hall is a working metal shop, so expect machine noise, coolant smell, and metal chips around the stations. Floors are kept dry and lit, ear protection and safety shoes are provided, and there is a separate break room with the canteen. A team lead is on the floor through both shifts if a setup gives you trouble.
