Machine Operator

You set the stack on the feeder, start the machine and watch the first sheets for register, colour and a clean cut before the run goes on. During the run you pull a sample every hour, check the crease and the glue line, and stop the machine when the register drifts. You keep the count, change the pallet when it is full and clean the rollers at the end of the shift. Two shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, and you report to the shift technologist.

Finished primary school, a technical trade school is welcome

Experience on any production machine is an advantage

Reading a work order and a quality sheet

Measuring with a ruler and checking a sample by eye

Willing to rotate two shifts

Basic English for the machine display

Careful work with moving rollers and knives

Net salary from 601 up to 721 EUR per month

Permanent contract after the trial period

Afternoon shift supplement paid by the hour

Transport from Nis and the nearby villages

Paid training alongside an experienced operator

Work clothing, gloves and safety shoes provided

Operators who learn the setting of the cutting die move to the lead machine on the line, and the plant pays for the printing course held in Nis.

A bright hall with dust extraction over the cutting line and ear protection near the presses. Gloves, safety shoes, glasses and ear plugs are supplied and worn at the machine.
