We are looking for waiters for a prestigious resort in Portorož - a destination where 80% of communication with international guests is in English and Italian. Work in an elegant setting on the Slovenian coast with the highest hospitality standards.
About role
Serving guests a la carte in the hotel restaurant following fine dining service protocols. Taking reservations and coordinating tables using the POS micros system. Recommending dishes and wines from the wine list and cooperating with the sommelier. Serving breakfasts, lunches and dinners in different resort restaurants. Setting tables, polishing cutlery and respecting HACCP standards in food handling. Participating in banquets and events, managing bills and end-of-shift cash-up.
Who's a fit?
NPK waiter or secondary hospitality education
At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant or hotel service
Functional English (B1) - required
Italian or German - advantageous
Skill with POS systems (Micros, Adriasoft)
Tidy appearance and excellent communication skills
Readiness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
