Production Operator

You work a station on the line: feed the components, assemble to the work instruction card, check each piece against the sample and put the finished item into the tray. Every hour you take a piece for the quality check, measure it and write the result on the control sheet. When the batch changes you clear the station, fetch the new parts and confirm the label and the batch number before the line restarts. Two shifts run 06:00 to 14:30 and 14:30 to 23:00 with a weekly rotation, and you report to the line leader.

Operators who learn several stations become line setters, who change the tooling between batches and cover for the line leader. That step usually comes after the first year.

A lit hall kept at room temperature, with noise around the presses and extraction above the gluing station. Safety shoes, gloves and ear protection are provided, and the line has adjustable work tables and rubber mats.
