Packaging Line Operator

You feed empty preforms and caps to the filler, watch the labeller for skewed labels and take the rejected bottles off the belt. At the end of the line you stack the shrink packs on the pallet in the pattern the order asks for, wrap it and write the batch number on the pallet card. The line stops for a format change twice a shift and the whole crew helps with the changeover. Shifts are 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation.

Finished primary school, no plant experience required

Ability to keep pace with a running line and stop it when needed

Lifting shrink packs of up to 12 kg repeatedly

Strict hand hygiene and hair cover in a food area

Willingness to work a third shift in the summer season

Basic English for the export labels on the pallet cards

Net salary from 560 up to 620 EUR per month

Permanent contract, kept through the winter low season

Operators who learn the format changeover move to machine setter, which is a higher grade, and the plant trains its own palletiser operators from the same group.

The hall is wet near the filler and loud near the blower, and the floor is washed twice a shift. Non slip shoes, hearing protection and a hair cover are compulsory and are issued by the plant.
