Injection Moulding Operator
Production & Manufacturing · Zaragoza, Spain
JB-865 · Basic (A2) · 8 openings
A plastics plant on the Cogullada estate north of Zaragoza is adding injection moulding operators to its automotive components shop. The machines run from 90 to 650 tonnes on a continuous shift pattern. Permanent contract and a rota published a month in advance.
About role
You run two or three presses at once: you start the cycle, watch the first pieces, cut the sprue and place the part in the gauge to check the critical dimensions with a caliper. Every hour you record cycle time, scrap and cavity temperature on the machine sheet. You feed the hopper with granulate and colour, dry the material to the written recipe and call the setter for a mould change or a cycle fault. Shifts rotate weekly across morning, afternoon and night, with weekend cover in the fifth shift pattern.
