Hotel Housekeeper

You service the rooms on your floor to the house card: strip and remake the beds, clean the bathroom from top to bottom, restock the amenities, wipe the surfaces and vacuum, then check the balcony and close the window as the card says. Departures are done first so the reception can release the room. Maintenance faults and forgotten items go straight to the housekeeping desk with the room number. The trolley is restocked and the linen chute cleared before the shift ends. The shift runs 08:00-16:00 with one day off a week.

Primary school finished, hotel practice is welcome but not required

Able to work a standing shift and service a floor of rooms

Following a room card exactly, without shortcuts

Discretion with guest property and with lost items

Basic English for guest requests and for the amenity labels

Net salary from 850 up to 955 EUR per month

Accommodation in a shared staff room and three meals a day

Housekeepers who finish a full season without a room complaint are offered the floor supervisor place the following year, and the house keeps their room in the staff building.

A mid size hotel with lifts, a linen room on every second floor and trolleys that are restocked centrally. Gloves, a uniform and non slip shoes are supplied, and the cleaning agents are pre dosed.
