A metal workshop in the Rastoci zone near Niksic is taking on CNC operators for its turning and milling cells. The shop makes shafts, flanges and machined housings for customers in Montenegro and Serbia. Permanent contract and paid machine training for operators new to the control.
About role
You load the blank, start the proven program and run the cycle, then measure the first part with a caliper and a micrometer against the drawing. Tool wear is corrected in the offset table, and a worn insert is changed and logged. Between batches you clean the chips from the bed, check the coolant level and concentration, and confirm the fixture is seated before the next run. Anything outside tolerance goes to the setter with the measurement sheet, never back into the batch. Two shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation.
Who's a fit?
Trade school in machining or metalwork, or equal practice
At least two years on a CNC lathe or milling machine
Reading a technical drawing and a tolerance field
Confident with a caliper, a micrometer and a bore gauge
Tool offset correction on a Fanuc or Siemens control
Basic English for the control menus and the tool catalogue

Promotion terms
Operators who measure cleanly and hold tolerance move to setting and simple program editing within a year, which is the step to machine setter in this workshop.
Work environment
A machine hall with enclosed cells, chip conveyors and a separate measuring corner with a granite plate. Eye protection, gloves and safety shoes are mandatory, and the coolant mist is extracted at each machine.
