Construction Site Foreman

You run the site day to day: you set out the work with the surveyor, hand out the daily tasks to the gangs, check formwork and reinforcement before every pour, and sign the concrete and hidden works records. You keep the site diary and the delivery notes, call off materials a week ahead, and hold a short safety briefing every Monday. You report to the project manager and to the site owner at the weekly meeting, and you are the one who stops a job that is not safe. Working hours are 07:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Civil engineering degree or a construction technician diploma

At least three years as a foreman on residential buildings

Reading structural drawings and setting out from them

Coordinating gangs and subcontractors on one programme

Site safety coordinator training, or willingness to take it

Category B driving licence

English at B1 for supplier and designer correspondence

Net salary from 1489 up to 1640 EUR per month

Permanent contract, six months of trial period

Company car with fuel card, also for private use

Quarterly bonus tied to the site programme

Two blocks of eight floors with a tower crane, a fenced site and a heated site office with a drawing table. Helmet, high visibility vest, safety shoes and a harness for edge work are mandatory and provided.
