Forklift Driver

The warehouse is in the Tempelhof industrial area and ships pallets to building supply stores across the region. You unload trucks with a counterbalance forklift, check the delivery against the delivery note, and put pallets away in the racking with the location the scanner gives you. On the outbound side you stage orders by tour, load trailers in the right order and secure the load with straps. You do a daily check of the truck before the first lift. Shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation, and you report to the shift lead.

Valid forklift licence (Staplerschein) or an equivalent certificate

At least one year of forklift work in a warehouse or a yard

Safe handling of counterbalance trucks and electric pallet trucks

Experience with a hand scanner and load securing

Willing to rotate early and late shifts week by week

Reliable, punctual and careful with goods

Basic English for scanner menus and safety signs

Net salary from 2160 up to 2600 EUR per month

Permanent contract with full social insurance from the first day

After twelve months, drivers who complete the paid reach truck training and work the high bay aisles alone move to 2600 EUR net a month.

A heated hall with racking up to eight levels, a covered loading yard and twelve dock doors. Safety shoes, a high visibility vest and gloves are mandatory and supplied by the employer.
