Waiter

You set and clear the tables, take the order on a handheld terminal, carry plates and drinks from the pass and check back after the first bites. You know the menu, the allergens and the daily specials and you tell the guest what is not available before the order goes in. At the end of the shift you cash up your terminal and hand over the section to the next waiter. Shifts are 11:00-19:00 or 15:00-23:00.

No formal schooling required, service experience an advantage

Able to carry three plates and to work a busy lunch service

Valid food handling health certificate, the medical check is paid

English at a conversational level for guests from abroad

Willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays on a rota

Tidy appearance and calm manner with guests

Net salary from 900 up to 1030 EUR per month

Service share paid on top of the monthly wage every month

Uniform issued and laundered by the restaurant

Waiters who learn the wine list and the cash reports take a section of their own and then the senior waiter post, which carries a higher rate. The restaurant pays for the barista and the sommelier basics course.

A dining room of about eighty covers with a summer terrace on the street, a bar station and a staff room with lockers. A uniform and non slip shoes are provided and laundered by the restaurant.
