We are seeking an experienced welder for a modern metal workshop in Sarajevo. Join a team producing metal structures for export to Germany and Austria. A stable position in a serious company with long-term prospects.
About role
Performing MIG/MAG and TIG welding on steel and aluminum structures according to technical documentation. Working on production of metal structures, supports, and parts for automotive industry (Volkswagen Sarajevo, ASA Group). Reading technical drawings and work orders. Quality control of own welds according to ISO standards. Preparation of workpieces (cleaning, grinding, assembly). Maintaining a tidy workplace and tools in accordance with HSE rules.
Who's a fit?
Completed vocational school in metal/mechanical engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in MIG/MAG and TIG welding
Ability to read technical drawings
Experience with stainless steel and aluminum is an advantage
Welder certificate according to EN ISO 9606 is an advantage
Responsibility, precision, and team spirit
