Hotel Room Attendant (Housekeeping)
Cleaning Services — Kotor, Montenegro
P-272 · Basic (A2) · 4 openings
A hotel near Kotor needs room attendants for the summer season. Steady hours, six days a week, with accommodation sorted before you arrive.
About role
You clean and reset guest rooms after checkout and refresh occupied rooms during stays. That means stripping and remaking beds, changing towels and linen, vacuuming, wiping down bathrooms, restocking minibars and toiletries, and reporting anything broken to the floor supervisor. A typical day runs from roughly 8am to 4pm, and most attendants finish between 14 and 18 rooms on a shift. You work off a room list and a trolley stocked with cleaning supplies, fresh linen, and a vacuum cleaner. During peak weeks in July and August the pace picks up because of back to back checkouts. The hotel sits in the old town area, so most rooms are reached by stairs and corridors rather than large service lifts.
Who's a fit?
Comfortable on your feet for most of the shift, with lifting of linen bundles
Attention to detail so rooms pass the supervisor check the first time
Able to keep a steady pace during busy checkout mornings
Basic English for safety notes and short guest requests
Reliable and on time, since the room list has to be done by the deadline
Benefits
Shared staff accommodation walking distance from the hotel
One meal per shift in the staff canteen
Help with paperwork and registration for foreign workers
Health insurance from your first month
Paid in full and on time at the end of each month
Promotion terms
You start at 710 euro net per month. Once you know the rooms and the supervisor trusts your work, pay moves up toward 820 euro net, usually within a season or two. Attendants who learn the floor well are the first choice for floor lead when a spot opens.
Work environment
This is indoor work in a small to mid size hotel, mostly bedrooms, bathrooms, and corridors. You wear gloves and use standard cleaning products, and the trolley does the heavy carrying between rooms. Summers in Kotor are hot, but the rooms are air conditioned, so you are out of the sun for most of the day.
