Truck Driver (Domestic Haulage)
Trade & Transport — Tuzla, Bosnia
P-266 · Basic (A2) · 3 openings
A transport company outside Tuzla needs a driver for domestic runs across Bosnia. Steady routes, the same depots most weeks, home most nights.
About role
You drive a rigid truck or a tractor-trailer on routes between Tuzla, Sarajevo, Doboj and Banja Luka, mostly hauling building material, pallets and general freight. The day starts at the yard around 5 or 6 in the morning with a walk-around check of tyres, lights, brakes and the load. You handle the loading paperwork, secure the cargo with straps and the curtain, and use the tail lift or a pallet jack at smaller drops. Two to four stops a day is typical, with the truck back at the depot before the shift ends. You keep your tacho and delivery notes in order and report any fault on the vehicle the same day. Most of the driving is on the M17 and regional roads, so you need to be steady in town traffic and on the hill stretches.

The dispatcher knows who is reliable and that is who gets the say in route planning.
Work environment
The yard sits in an industrial zone near Tuzla with secure parking and a small canteen. Trucks are kept on a regular service schedule, so you are not fighting worn brakes or a tired clutch all day. Winters here bring snow and ice on the hill roads, so steady driving matters more than speed.
