Furniture Carpenter / Joiner
Wood & Furniture Production — Banja Luka, Bosnia
P-263 · Basic (A2) · 3 openings
A wood and furniture workshop near Banja Luka needs a joiner who can read a cutting list and turn it into a clean carcass by the end of the shift. Steady indoor work, real machines, and a foreman who actually shows you the ropes in your first week.
About role
You will work mostly with melamine boards, MDF and some solid beech and oak, cutting parts on a panel saw and edge-banding them before assembly. A typical day means reading the order, cutting to size, drilling for dowels and confirmat screws, and dry-fitting drawers and doors so the hinges sit flush. You handle the edgebander, the CNC drill when the run calls for it, and a router for grooves and rebates. Sanding, fitting handles and final check are part of the job, not someone else's problem. Most output is kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and shop fittings for clients across the region. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:30, with occasional Saturday mornings when a delivery is tight.

Joiners who take on the CNC and lead a small bench team have the first shot at the next opening.
Work environment
The workshop is a heated, dust-extracted hall, not a draughty shed, so winter is bearable and the air stays clean enough to breathe. Machines are kept guarded and serviced, and ear protection plus a mask are on hand for the sanding line. It is honest factory work with set hours and a crew that knows each other.
