An installation company based in the Ramici industrial zone is hiring electricians for apartment blocks and business premises in and around Banja Luka. The work is first fix and second fix on new buildings, with some refits in occupied offices. One day shift, permanent contract.
About role
On first fix you chase the walls, set the boxes to the drawing, pull the cable through the conduit and label both ends before the plasterers arrive. On second fix you fit the sockets, switches and luminaires, terminate the board and check insulation, continuity and the residual current device with the tester. Every circuit goes into the test sheet and the board gets a printed schedule. The shift is 07:00-15:30, Monday to Friday, with a paid Saturday when a handover is close.
Who's a fit?
Trade or technical school for electricians
At least two years on building installations, not only maintenance
Reading a single line diagram and a floor plan with circuit numbers
Use of an insulation tester and a residual current device tester
Chasing, conduit and cable pulling on a live site
Driving licence B, the crew moves between sites during the week

Promotion terms
An electrician who takes over the test sheets and the handover documents becomes crew leader on his own site, which carries a fixed monthly supplement.
Work environment
Unfinished buildings without heating in winter, dust from chasing and work on a ladder or a light scaffold. A helmet, gloves, goggles and safety shoes are compulsory and dust masks are supplied.
