A logistics operator in the Kombinat industrial zone of Podgorica is hiring forklift drivers for its pallet warehouse. The site handles building materials and packaged goods for customers in the capital and the north. Permanent contract and a licence refresher paid by the employer.
About role
The day starts when you take the job list from the dispatcher, then you unload trucks with a counterbalance forklift, put pallets away in the racking by location code and pull them for outbound orders. Before the first lift you walk the machine round, check the forks, the mast chains, the horn and the battery charge, and you write the result in the daily log. During the shift you keep the aisles clear, report any damaged rack beam at once and never lift above the plate rating. The warehouse works 07:00-15:00 with one late shift a week until 20:00 during the peak months.
Who's a fit?
Valid forklift licence for a counterbalance truck
At least one year of driving inside a racked warehouse
Reading location codes and pallet labels without error
Daily machine check and a written log of it
Willing to take one late shift a week in the peak season
Basic English for the machine display and the safety plates

Promotion terms
Drivers who handle the racking cleanly are trained on the reach truck and on the inbound goods desk, which is the usual step towards shift leader in this warehouse.
Work environment
A covered hall with four metre racking, a charging bay for the batteries and painted lanes separating traffic from foot traffic. A helmet, a high visibility vest and safety shoes are mandatory on the floor.
