Site Bricklayer
Construction · Belgrade, Serbia
JB-710 · Basic (A2) · 10 openings
A construction company building residential blocks in Zemun Polje is taking on bricklayers for structural and partition work. The crews lay block and brick behind the concrete frame as each floor is stripped. Work is on a permanent contract with a paid trial month.
About role
You set out the wall from the marks the surveyor leaves, mix mortar or take it from the silo, and lay block to the line and the level. You keep the courses even, cut the openings for doors and windows to the drawing, and build in lintels and anchors where the plan shows them. Scaffolding is raised with the crew as the wall grows and is checked before anyone climbs. Work runs 07:00-15:30 with a half hour break, and the site foreman signs off each section.
