Warehouse Worker

You take pallets in at the ramp, check the number of cases and the expiry date against the delivery note and store them in the rack position the scanner shows. During the shift you pick orders with a hand terminal, stack the pallet so that heavy cases stay at the bottom, wrap it and roll it to the loading lane. Damaged packaging goes to the shift leader before the goods move further, and every correction is written into the system. Shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly change, Saturdays only when a delivery window requires it.

Primary school finished, no trade certificate needed

Able to lift cases up to 20 kg through a full shift

Accurate counting and careful reading of labels and dates

Basic English for the terminal menus and the safety signs

Clean criminal record, required by the site owner

Net salary from 936 up to 1030 EUR per month

Permanent contract after a three month trial period

Company shuttle from Ruzinov and from the Petrzalka bus terminal

Paid training on the hand terminal and on manual handling

Work clothing, gloves and safety shoes supplied by the employer

A picker who learns goods inwards moves to the receiving desk within a year, and the team leader posts are filled from the floor. The forklift licence course is paid by the employer.

A heated hall with marked walkways, electric pallet trucks in every aisle and a separate chilled room for fresh goods. Safety shoes, gloves and a high visibility vest are mandatory and are supplied by the employer.
