Truck Driver CE

You drive a 40 tonne tautliner combination on fixed routes, load and unload at ramps with a forklift driver, and secure the pallets with straps and edge protectors before you close the curtain. Before each departure you walk around the vehicle, check tyre pressure, lights, coupling and the load plan, then log the trip on the digital tachograph card. You keep the CMR and the customs papers in order, call the dispatcher at every border and at every unloading, and hand in the fuel receipts on return. Six routes a month, five day weeks, and the truck stays in your care.

CE licence held for at least two years

Valid digital tachograph card and a driver certificate of competence

Experience on regional routes inside the European Union

Load securing with straps, bars and edge protectors

Functional English for border and ramp communication

Clean record on driving and rest time rules

Willing to spend three or four nights a week on the road

Net salary from 1107 up to 1218 EUR per month

Permanent contract from the first day, no agency in between

Daily allowance for every night away, paid with the salary

Fleet from 2022 and newer, automatic gearbox and a parking heater

Fixed route plan given a week ahead, weekend rest at home

Fuel card, road tolls and a company phone

Work clothing, gloves, high visibility vest and safety shoes

Drivers who keep a clean tachograph record for a year get the pick of the routes and the newest truck in the fleet. The firm pays the ADR course for drivers who want the chemical loads.

A terminal yard with lit ramps, a driver room with showers and a laundry, and a workshop that keeps the fleet serviced. High visibility vest, gloves and safety shoes are worn on every ramp and in the yard.
