Metal Industry · Niksic, Montenegro
JB-595 · Basic (A2) · 5 openings
A steel fabrication shop in Niksic making stair structures, platforms and hoppers for domestic and Serbian customers is taking on experienced MIG/MAG welders. Plate from 3 to 20 mm, single shift work, and a permanent contract with the wage paid on a fixed date.
About role
You read the workshop drawing, tack the assembly on the jig and weld fillet and butt joints in the flat and vertical positions with solid wire under a mixed gas. You set the current and the wire speed to the plate thickness, grind the tacks before the final pass, and check the throat with a weld gauge. Distortion is controlled by the welding sequence, so you follow the order the shop head marks on the drawing. Finished pieces are cleaned of spatter, marked with the order number and stacked for painting. One shift, 06:00-14:00, with paid overtime when a delivery closes.
