Furniture Bench Joiner

You take the cutting list and the panel plan, saw on the panel saw, band the edges and drill the system holes on the drilling jig. Carcasses are assembled dry first, checked for square with a diagonal measure, then glued and screwed. You fit hinges and drawer runners, adjust the front gaps to an even line, and mark the parts for delivery so the fitters know the order. Solid beech tops are planed, sanded and oiled by hand. The workshop runs one shift, 07:00-15:00, and you report to the workshop head.

A joiner who measures on site and draws the kitchen himself moves to the survey and fitting side, which is the better paid half of the trade here. The shop pays the course for the design programme it uses.

A heated workshop with extraction on the saw and the bander, a separate spraying room and a covered yard for loading. Ear protection and a dust mask are worn at the machines and the floor is swept twice a day.
