CNC Machine Operator

You clamp the billet in the fixture and run a proven programme on a three-axis vertical mill. The first piece off every order is measured with a caliper and a bore gauge, you correct tool offsets when a dimension drifts, and you flag a cutter for change once the edge wears. Output goes into the shop book per work order, coolant level and the chip conveyor are checked twice a shift, and the machine is handed over clean with a short written note. Shifts are 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 on a weekly rotation, and you report to the shift leader, who also does the setups.

Finished trade school for machining, toolmaking or a similar field

At least one year on a CNC milling machine or lathe

Reading a technical drawing and simple ISO code

Confident use of a caliper, micrometer and bore gauge

Willing to rotate two shifts every week

Basic English for machine menus and safety labels

Careful record keeping in the shop book

An operator who learns the setup work does the setups alone inside a year, and the shop fills its shift leader seats from the floor. The employer pays the programming course at the trade centre in Podgorica.

A concrete floor hall with local extraction at every machine, marked walkways and a separate measuring room next to the office. Ear protection, gloves and safety shoes are mandatory and issued by the employer.
