You work chipboard, MDF and oak veneer from the cutting list: loading the panel saw, edge banding, drilling the hinge and shelf holes on the boring machine, and dry assembling the carcass to check the diagonals before it is glued and pinned. You fit hinges, drawer runners and handles, mark the pieces per order, and wrap them for the fitters. Cutting lists that do not add up you take back to the technician rather than guessing. One shift, 06:00-14:00, Monday to Friday, with voluntary paid Saturdays.

Finished trade school as a carpenter or joiner

At least two years in furniture production, not only site fitting
